September 9, 2021: Meeting with members of associations focused on popularization of Japanese culture

On September 9, I invited representatives of the Slovak Shogi Association, the Slovak Go Association and the organizers of the Nippon Fest to my residence.
The last time these associations significantly helped the Embassy in organizing the COOL JAPAN: Japanese Day event at the Children's University of Economics (DEU), during which they prepared workshops for shogi, go, Japanese puzzles and Kumihimo for children. The event took place on July 21.
I expressed my sincere gratitude for their long-term cooperation and support in promoting Japanese culture in Slovakia, recognizing the importance of such sincere partnerships, which significantly support the cultural and PR activities of our embassy. We firmly believe that our cooperation will continue and be strengthened, and that together we will establish a tradition of mutual discussions and regular exchanges of views.
