August 4, 2021: Ambassador Nakagawa visited the Council of Slovak Exporters

2021/12/9
On August 4, I visited the Council of Slovak Exporters based in Bratislava and spoke with its chairman Lukáš Parízek (former State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic).

This board is an interest association of legal entities and was founded last year. Its members are Slovak companies interested in exporting (currently there are about 80 of them). Its aim is to mediate effective communication between exporters, state institutions, commercial banks and relevant international institutions of which the Slovak Republic is a member. This new organization, which seeks to support exports, provides its members with information on Slovakia's trade policy and support measures under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic and the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO).

I discussed with the President of the Council Lukáš Parízek the possibilities of future cooperation concerning the support of exports from Slovakia to Japan, for example the possibilities of cooperation with the Japanese JETRO. The following day, 5 August, I recorded a podcast at the Council's premises. If you are interested in hearing it, click on the link below.
