March 11, 2021: Online lecture at the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica
2021/12/9
On March 11, I gave an online lecture for students of the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations at the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica.
During the lecture, I reminded students that 10 years has passed since the great earthquake and tsunami in eastern Japan came, and presented and clarified the state of the reconstruction process in this area. Additionally, described relations between Japan and the Slovak Republic from various aspects, such as history, human and cultural exchanges, diplomatic and economic relations. Subsequently, students had the opportunity to ask questions, such as the fight against a new type of coronavirus in Japan, or how the outcome of the US presidential election affected the policy of the Japanese government. A lively debate ensued, while the participants exchanged their views on individual topics.
We hope that this lecture was a meaningful and beneficial opportunity for students of Matej Bel University to deepen their knowledge of relations between our countries.
