September 7, 2020: Visit to Trenčianske Teplice

      On September 7, I visited the spa town of Trenčianske Teplice, which is applying to be included into the "Blooming Slovakia" sakura planting campaign. It is organized on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of relations between Japan and the Slovak Republic.

     I explained conditions of the campaign to the Mayor Zuzana Frajková Ďurmeková and the Vice-Mayor Michaela Fedorová and we discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the Embassy and the Town of Trenčianske Teplice. Subsequently, I signed the memorial book and took a walk through the city, taking a keen interest in its sights, history and current events.
